Everyone Has A Story

It all started when he noticed the Le Moyne Dolphin logo on my jacket. We started making connections about people we knew, childhood hometowns and friends and then the conversation grew into summer vacation plans and life's unavoidable curveballs. This older gentleman that graciously helped my parents and I in a store on an errand, spoke of his memories, family, hopes and fears - ones that we could relate to as well. Later on, after a handshake and a "take care", my mom leaned over to me and whispered: "everyone has a story."

And indeed, we all do.

We all have a past that has shaped us, backgrounds that have molded the figure in the foreground, mistakes that have weakened us but made us stronger, imperfect circumstances that have perfected our destined path, fears that have taught us how to cling to hope and failures that have taught us how to dream.

However, we are certain of our uncertainties, courageous in our footsteps forward, resilient in our challenges overcome, connected in our continuous growth and transformed in an ever changing world.

You see, despite our differences, similarities are interwoven throughout our own individual stories. Everyone has a past, everyone has a future... everyone has a story. And sometimes, it only takes a logo on a jacket to share a moment within the story of another... to be inspired and to inspire others in return.
